Why We Started SMARTHIRE OKU
SMARTHIRE OKU was created as a Diploma Final Year Project by three students from Politeknik Muadzam Shah, Pahang.
Our team shares the goal of making job searching easier, more accessible and more inclusive for persons with disabilities.
We started this project after understanding that many persons with disabilities still experience difficulties when using existing job-search platforms.
Difficult navigation, small text, unclear instructions and limited accessibility features may prevent capable individuals from discovering suitable employment opportunities.
How We Want to Help
SMARTHIRE OKU provides a simpler job-search experience by connecting persons with disabilities with inclusive employers.
Job seekers can complete profiles, upload resumes, explore vacancies, submit applications and track their status.
Employers can publish vacancies, review profiles and resumes, and manage applications through an organised recruitment process.

MEET OUR TEAM
The Team Behind SMARTHIRE OKU
SMARTHIRE OKU was developed by three Diploma in Information Technology students from Politeknik Muadzam Shah as their Final Year Project, under the guidance of an experienced project supervisor.
Our team combines project management, system development, user-interface design and research to build an accessible employment platform that connects persons with disabilities with inclusive employers.
PUAN ATIJAH BINTI MARSITHI
Project Supervisor
Provides professional guidance throughout the development of SMARTHIRE OKU. She reviews the project progress, advises the team on suitable improvements and ensures that the system meets its academic requirements and intended objectives.
AMIRAH SYAZWANI BINTI NARUN HAFIZI
Project Manager
Coordinates the overall project and manages the development schedule. She organises team responsibilities, monitors project progress and ensures that every part of the system is completed according to the project plan and objectives.
SITI NURUL AINA BINTI MASDAR
System Developer
Develops the main website functions, including database connections, account management, job applications, messaging, notifications and password recovery. She also tests and maintains the system to ensure that it works reliably.
NURUL SYAHIRAH SYAZWANI BINTI MOHD AZMAN
UI/UX Designer & Researcher
Designs the website interface and studies the needs of job seekers with disabilities. She focuses on accessibility, readability, responsive design and user experience to ensure that the platform is comfortable and easy for everyone to use.
